Cool Women Over 50: The Fine Line Between Authentic and Forced

Getting older is, as we all know, not a pleasant experience for anyone, except perhaps when you're slowly moving from your teenage years toward adulthood. Once you've really enjoyed your first years as an adult, usually between 20 and 30, the first unwelcome signs of aging usually start to appear. Everyone deals with it differently, and in some people the first signs show up earlier, in others a bit later. There isn't much you can do about it, other than looking after your health in general, which means eating right and exercising a lot. But even if you do everything "right," the day will come when the first fine lines become visible on your face, a hair or two turns gray, and you may notice in your performance level that you're simply not 20 anymore. For women in particular, this usually isn't an easy matter, which is why, sadly, you see so many women in their 40s and 50s going through a bit of a crisis. They mostly try to fight the signs of aging with countless expensive anti-wrinkle creams or even surgical procedures. But that, too, is mostly just a desperate attempt to artificially stay young. Because no matter how well cosmetic surgery is done, it's usually very hard to hide your real age. This article is about cool women over 50, and how about simply accepting your age as a woman, along with everything that comes with it?
